Rebranding questions I get.
How much does rebranding cost?
It depends on how much changes. A brand refresh costs less because you keep your name and much of your identity. A full rebrand costs more because it starts with strategy and rebuilds from there. Agencies often charge well into five or six figures, while GiddyBrands quotes one flat rate before work starts, with agency-level strategy and design from the person you're talking to.
How long does a rebrand take?
Most GiddyBrands rebrands take six to eight weeks from strategy workshop to launched website. A brand refresh usually takes four to six weeks.
What is the difference between a rebrand and a brand refresh?
A brand refresh keeps your name, story, and core identity and updates what fell behind, usually the website, messaging, and visual polish. A rebrand changes the foundation, the positioning, identity, or name, because the business itself changed.
Will rebranding hurt my Google rankings?
It shouldn't if it's handled right. Every old URL gets redirected to its new page, your Google Business Profile and directory listings get updated together, and the new site is built with search in mind, so the rankings you've earned carry over.
Do I need a new name?
Usually not. Most names carry real equity, and changing one is only worth it after a merger, a major change in what you sell, or when the name actively works against you. The strategy phase answers this before anything gets designed.
How do you rebrand a small business?
Start with strategy, not the logo: settle who you're for and what makes you different. Then keep what's earned, design the new identity from that strategy, rewrite the messaging, rebuild the website with redirects, and roll everything out at once so customers see one consistent brand.
Do you only work with Charlotte businesses?
No. GiddyBrands is based in Charlotte and meets local clients in person, but works with founder-led businesses across the US and abroad.
